Well, the holidays are over and now a long winter lies ahead of us. This time of year is rough for a lot of people ~ myself included ~ because it’s cold and dark and, let’s face it, there’s not a whole lot going on for the next few months.
It’s easy to become depressed.
That’s why right now, more than ever, it’s important to look hard at your life to see the blessings. It’s imperative to be thankful for every blessing, and that starts with recognizing the blessings.
Things like that little bit of sunshine poking through the clouds on a cold January morning… that pretty cardinal sitting on the bird feeder outside the kitchen window… the smell of fresh coffee brewing.
Blessings are all around us. We just have to open our eyes and see them.
When we see our blessings, we feel gratitude. And when we feel gratitude, joy is easier to find.
Choose joy today by being grateful for your many blessings.
